Session Goal

The session aimed to plan and outline the organizational structure and roles within the Data Subsecretariat of the Ministry of Security.

Key Activities

  • Developed a comprehensive plan for the management of the Data Subsecretariat, detailing its organizational structure and functions.
  • Discussed the distribution of roles between the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Data Officer (CDO) to enhance coordination and efficiency.
  • Proposed the creation of specialized offices for CTO and CDO to improve the management of technology and data.
  • Outlined the key roles and responsibilities within the Data Subsecretariat, including the Chief Data Officer, Director of Data Analysis, Data Scientist, and Political Relations Coordinator.

Achievements

  • Completed a detailed plan for the Data Subsecretariat’s structure, including an organigram and integration plan with other areas of the Ministry.
  • Clarified the roles and responsibilities of key positions to ensure strategic alignment with the Ministry’s objectives.

Pending Tasks

  • Finalize and approve the proposed separation of functions between the CTO and CDO.
  • Develop detailed job descriptions for each role within the Data Subsecretariat.
