Session Goal

The session aimed to design and implement scripts for creating executive snapshot tables and a human-oriented balance document factory.

Key Activities

  • Designing Executive Snapshot Tables: Developed a structured approach to create snapshot tables for business metrics, focusing on stability, clarity, and output formats.
  • File Management in Python: Implemented code snippets to list files in directories and read CSV files using pandas, laying the groundwork for further data processing.
  • Snapshot Materialization Script: Provided an overview and implementation of a Python script to materialize snapshot tables from various metric artifacts, ensuring proper handling of missing metrics.
  • Human Balance Document Factory: Developed a script to generate balance reports by processing accounting metrics, creating outputs in CSV and HTML formats. This was integrated into the existing reporting infrastructure.
