Description
Session Goal
Consolidate the product thesis for a WhatsApp-first capture-to-artifact system after schema stabilization, and determine whether the session meaningfully advanced both the internal architecture and the commercial direction.
Key Activities
- Assessed the coherence gains unlocked by stabilizing the schema and closing the post-capture workflow gap.
- Reframed the product around a three-surface architecture: WhatsApp as the primary capture channel, a server-side backend for governance and asynchronous processing, and a lightweight web app for review/curation.
- Evaluated market fit and differentiation against adjacent AI note-taking / productivity tools, emphasizing that the product should manage capture items, curation, promotion, and lifecycle governance rather than generic transcription alone.
- Outlined a monetization path with subscription tiers, possible overages, and phased team pricing, while noting that WhatsApp should not be treated as the only distribution channel.
- Drafted a PLG-oriented go-to-market approach focused on a narrow ICP, founder-led outreach, demo-driven content, and retention/activation validation before scaling.
- Considered team strategy, concluding that the immediate need is not a cofounder but clearer capability gaps and sequencing of solo execution, paid help, and later partnership search.
- Clarified wording in a memo so that references to “quienes” correctly point to the author and the design/development process, not a business team.
Achievements
- Established a more coherent product constitution by linking capture, processing, review, and downstream artifact governance into one system.
- Identified a plausible commercial wedge: a narrow, purchasable entrypoint for a voice-capture cognition product.
- Produced a clearer technical direction that avoids premature mobile development and instead prioritizes canonical domain modeling, async ingestion/transcription, and backend governance.
- Consolidated early commercial decisions around pricing, GTM, and validation milestones.
Pending Tasks
- Define the narrowest viable commercial entrypoint and prototype surface.
- Compare the concept against specific competitors in a structured matrix.
- Validate activation, retention, and conversion assumptions with real users.
- Decide the next implementation milestone for the backend/web review flow before considering a mobile companion app.
