Description

Session Goal

Consolidate the day’s planning/reflection artifacts into a Monday-ready execution plan, with clear boundaries between active workstreams and no scope expansion.

Key Activities

  • Reviewed the Office Auto Lab background runtime activation work, including the evidence lane, logs, timer/service behavior, and the remaining systemd variable-escaping bug.
  • Captured the operational recommendation to patch the unit file, rerun the service, and delay adding more timers until one scheduled run is clean.
  • Reframed the Economic Story Engine as an audit-first effort: collapse overlapping EconBlog rows into one workstream and defer draft generation until series audit and registry V1 exist.
  • Defined a concrete inbox cleanup taxonomy for the MAL knowledge vault, including folder structure, file moves, index updates, and inbox-empty verification.
  • Produced a Monday continuity brief that consolidates five active workstreams into bounded next actions and separates execution, maintenance, and exploratory work.
  • Reconciled broad compile outputs with a stricter Monday focus list, identifying principal execution fronts versus support/watch items and proposing sheet edits for the main workstreams.
  • Converted the Friday close into a Monday compile and week execution plan prioritizing EPH thesis, job search throughput, and Office Auto Lab verification, with bounded maintenance for EconBlog and health tasks.

Achievements

  • Established a first partially functional background lane for Office Auto Lab with observable evidence/logging and a clear next fix path.
  • Clarified project boundaries so that Economic Story Engine remains in audit mode and does not move into build work prematurely.
  • Defined a reusable filesystem/inbox organization workflow for the knowledge vault.
  • Created a Monday-oriented handoff structure that keeps each lane artifact-based, bounded, and non-overlapping.

Pending Tasks

  • Patch the Office Auto Lab systemd unit to fix variable escaping, then rerun and verify one clean scheduled execution.
  • Keep timers from expanding until the current background lane is stable.
  • Complete the Economic Story Engine series audit and registry V1 before any draft-generation work.
  • Execute the inbox cleanup moves and index updates, then confirm the inbox is empty.
  • Apply the proposed sheet edits and follow the Monday execution plan for EPH, job search, and Office Auto Lab.
