Description
Session Goal
Synthesize multiple GPT outputs into actionable strategy notes spanning collaboration reactivation, billing/charge investigation, research-operations design, and recruiter screening preparation.
Key Activities
- Framed a meeting with Eric around reactivating a stalled research collaboration by positioning the site/archive as a validation and continuity layer rather than a full rebuild.
- Defined a bounded first task for Charlotte and emphasized landing one concrete decision on which dataset family to validate first.
- Reframed the archive as a research-operations layer for Eric’s agenda, proposing missing components such as a publication-to-data crosswalk, intervention registry, outcome registry, and evidence-status table.
- Developed a merchant-descriptor investigation approach for ambiguous card charges, treating the descriptor as a triage problem rather than assuming a definitive merchant match.
- Assessed a suspicious charge against LinkedIn billing patterns and recommended checking receipts, subscriptions, account history, and email before disputing.
- Explained chargeback/liability flow for card-not-present fraud disputes, including issuer reversal, acquirer/merchant chargeback, and the possibility of card replacement when fraud is suspected.
- Built a three-stage screening workflow for job analysis: deduplicate roles, infer the real role behind each posting, then position the user’s profile against each role.
- Screened two PwC GenAI roles, distinguishing a strategic transformation role from a more technical LLM engineering role, and prepared recruiter-facing positioning and risk management talking points.
- Drafted recruiter call prep for AI/data seniority framing, including a concise pitch, calibrated experience claims, salary handling, and questions to ask.
Achievements
- Clarified a consistent strategic pattern: reduce ambiguity, narrow scope, and force a concrete next decision in meetings, investigations, and interviews.
- Produced reusable framing for collaboration revival, research infrastructure alignment, billing triage, and job screening.
- Identified technical artifacts that would strengthen the research archive: crosswalks, registries, ontologies, and evidence-status tracking.
- Established interview positioning that presents the user as a senior AI systems engineer rather than an academic researcher.
Pending Tasks
- Confirm the first dataset family to validate in the Eric collaboration.
- Decide whether the ambiguous charge matches any known subscription/merchant and, if not, proceed with dispute/chargeback steps.
- Convert the research-operations framing into a concrete artifact list or implementation plan.
- Reuse the recruiter-screening pitch and role-differentiation notes in upcoming calls.
