Session Goal:

The session aimed to refine Git credential management and resolve authentication errors to ensure seamless Git operations.

  • Configured Git Credential Helper: Set up a .[[git]]-credentials file and configured Git to use it for automated authentication.
  • Updated Credential Configurations: Removed outdated configurations and established new ones in the .[[git]]-credentials file.
  • Modified autopush.sh Script: Enhanced the script to utilize the .[[git]]-credentials file for GitHub authentication.
