The goal of this session was to establish a consistent and structured approach to documenting datasets related to violence in Africa, using Markdown templates for clarity and uniformity.

  • Defined data paths for various data families, including violence and DHS, detailing directory locations and file formats.
  • Structured CSV outputs for data files related to violence in Africa, ensuring clarity in file paths and variable descriptions.
  • Developed a Markdown template for documenting datasets, focusing on directory paths, formats, variants, and placeholders for descriptions.
