Description

The goal of this session was to troubleshoot and resolve joystick recognition issues using the OnePAD plugin for PCSX2 on Ubuntu.

System Recognition Check: Verified if the joystick was recognized by the system using tools like lsusb and dmesg.
Functionality Testing: Tested joystick functionality with jstest to ensure it was working correctly.
Configuration in PCSX2: Configured settings within the PCSX2 emulator to ensure proper joystick recognition.
USB and Driver Checks: Checked USB connections and installed necessary drivers to address any potential hardware or software issues.
Hardware Diagnostics: Conducted diagnostics to identify low-level communication errors and explored additional drivers for compatibility.

Identified key areas where the joystick recognition was failing and implemented steps to address these issues.

Further testing is required to ensure long-term stability of the joystick connection on Ubuntu.
