Description
Session Goal
The session aimed to develop Python scripts for processing data, generating markdown outputs, and handling errors related to data grouping.
Key Activities
- Force Quit OpenOffice Calc: Utilized terminal commands such as
killall, pkill, xkill, and a manual method withpsandkillto force quit OpenOffice Calc. - Python Script Development: Created Python scripts to read CSV files, group data by specific columns, and construct markdown strings for each group.
- Error Handling: Addressed a ValueError in markdown generation by correcting the unpacking of values from the
small_groupslist. - Data Processing and Analysis: Implemented functionality to calculate and include group percentages in markdown outputs, enhancing clarity and insight.
- Sorting and Refinement: Developed logic for sorting groups by percentage and refined the processing of small groups to maintain and sort them by ‘Voto 21’.
Achievements
- Successfully developed scripts that group data and generate markdown outputs, including group percentages.
- Corrected errors in data processing scripts, improving reliability and accuracy.
Pending Tasks
- Further testing and validation of scripts to ensure robustness across different datasets.
- Exploration of additional features to enhance markdown output formatting.
