Session Goal

The goal of this session was to enhance interactive graph visualizations using D3.js, focusing on improving user interaction and data representation.

Key Activities

• Network Correlation Visualization: Initiated with a network graph using networkx to show correlations between subjects, improving layout with Kamada-Kawai for better clarity.
• Interactive Graph with D3.js: Developed an interactive graph visualization using D3.js, including data export to JSON and setup in VS Code with Live Server.
• Graph Improvements: Enhanced interactivity by implementing responsive containers, zoom controls, and CSS styling.
• Tooltip Implementation: Added interactive tooltips to display full course names on hover and click, with debugging of JSON fields for accuracy.
