Session Goal

The primary aim of this session was to enhance the MVP frontend by integrating components from the ai-dataops-template, upgrading TypeScript configurations, and resolving routing and CORS issues.

Key Activities

  • Defining Routes in Next.js 13+: Implemented guidance on defining routes and troubleshooting 404 errors in a Next.js application.
  • Upgrading MVP Frontend: Imported essential UI components from the ai-dataops-template to improve the user interface.
  • Upgrading tsconfig.[[json]]: Aligned the TypeScript configuration with best practices for a more modular setup.
  • Switching Axios to Fetch: Replaced Axios with Fetch API in Next.js, addressing CORS issues.
  • Fixing TypeScript Type Definition Errors: Resolved issues with missing type definitions and improved environment variable usage.
  • Refactoring handleRun Function: Updated the function to use environment variables for better configurability.
  • Fixing CORS Issues in FastAPI: Implemented CORS middleware to resolve cross-origin issues in a FastAPI application.
  • Extracting Flow Logic Helpers: Transitioned AI workflows to a more modular design by extracting reusable logic.
