Description
Session Goal
The session aimed to debug and enhance the LLM configuration within the AIOS kernel, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
Key Activities
- Debugged LLM Configuration: Addressed a critical issue where no LLM backend was configured, leading to silent failures. Steps were provided to fix the configuration by explicitly providing the
llmsargument. - Enhanced Observability: Improved the
send_requestfunction with enhanced logging capabilities for better observability and traceability. - Kernel Configuration Debugging: Outlined the debugging process for a kernel configuration issue related to the OpenAI LLM, addressing a 500 Internal Server Error.
- AIOS Kernel Validation: Confirmed the AIOS kernel’s functionality and provided guidance on testing the query payload while addressing schema validation errors.
- LLM Recognition Fix: Resolved an issue where the AIOS kernel did not recognize the
gpt-4model, including necessary configuration changes. - YAML Configuration Issue: Identified and resolved a mismatch between the agent call and the defined model in the YAML configuration.
- Tool Hub Error Resolution: Outlined steps to resolve a tool hub error in the OpenAI model setup.
Achievements
- Successfully debugged and configured the LLM backend and kernel settings.
- Enhanced logging and observability for critical functions.
- Resolved multiple configuration and error handling issues, ensuring smoother operation of AIOS with OpenAI models.
Pending Tasks
- Further testing of the configurations in a production-like environment to ensure robustness.
