Description

Session Goal: The session aimed to integrate and optimize structured data using JSON-LD in a Docusaurus site to enhance SEO.

Key Activities:

• A detailed guide was followed to implement structured data (Schema.org) using JSON-LD in Docusaurus with the @docusaurus/head package.
• JSON-LD was integrated into Docusaurus MDX files, with specific snippets provided for a CV page, Welcome page, and a build log page.
• Best practices for site-wide metadata management using HeadTags.tsx and page-specific structured data were outlined.
• A BreadcrumbList was implemented using JSON-LD to enhance search engine visibility.
• A guide for auditing hreflang and canonical tags was reviewed to ensure SEO best practices.

Achievements:

• Successfully integrated JSON-LD structured data into various pages of a Docusaurus site, improving the SEO setup.
• Established a clear understanding of metadata management and SEO practices within Docusaurus.
