Session Goal:

The session aimed to refine and debug various Python scripts related to RSS data processing, enhancing functionality and resolving existing issues.

Key Activities:

  • Processing All RSS Data: Implemented a procedure to process all available RSS data by bypassing the trigger_time logic and utilizing manual slicing points.
  • Digest Generation Script Enhancement: Applied a code patch to improve the digest generation script, enabling it to handle all CSV files in a directory and extract unique digest IDs.
  • Python Script Structural Fixes: Corrected structural issues in a Python script to ensure proper argument handling and logic placement.
  • Error Handling in Date Parsing: Diagnosed a ValueError in datetime parsing, providing solutions to correct the issue.
