Description

Session Goal

The primary goal of this session was to refactor and consolidate configuration paths for storage and triager systems, ensuring consistency and eliminating ambiguities in the state_file keys.

Key Activities

  • Proposed a clear refactoring of paths in storage and triager configurations, focusing on consistency and clarity.
  • Implemented a function load_paths(cfg) in Python to extract and normalize paths from a config.yaml file, along with a CLI command to visualize these paths.
  • Identified and suggested corrections for a misconfiguration in the email manager’s state file path.
  • Evaluated the revised structure for storage and triager blocks, confirming coherence and suggesting cleanup recommendations.
  • Assessed the functionality of an email triage CLI, identifying areas for improvement including the need for a real LLM endpoint.
  • Conducted a strategic assessment of system design, emphasizing productization steps and user experience.
  • Outlined user archetypes and insights for an email triager tool, emphasizing user-centric design.
  • Provided a guide for developing a modular CLI and UI architecture.

Achievements

Pending Tasks

  • Implement a real LLM endpoint for the email triage CLI.
  • Further refine user-centric features based on archetype insights.
  • Continue development of the modular CLI and UI architecture.
