Description
Session Goal
The session aimed to update and enhance the digest management system and perform a comprehensive graph analysis for the ‘DIGESTS’ node.
Key Activities
- Digest Management System Update: Introduced a ‘Digest lane’ with wiring and a new data store for digests. Implemented weekly digests and removed evidence requirements for validation.
- Consolidation of Sessions and LogEvents: Proposed a unified structure for managing sessions and cohorts, maintaining governance with
validated=true. - Directed Graph Analysis: Built a directed graph to analyze upstream nodes leading to the ‘DIGESTS’ node, identifying sources, cycles, and generating reports in CSV and GraphML formats.
- Graph Optimization: Simplified the graph by normalizing node names and constructing a backbone based on node centrality.
- Operational Design for L2 Channels: Planned the operational design for managing L2 channels and their aggregation, including pseudocode for implementation.
Achievements
- Successfully updated the digest management workflow and data store.
- Completed the graph analysis and optimization, producing several artifacts for inspection.
- Developed an operational design for L2 channels and aggregation.
Pending Tasks
- Further refinement and testing of the L2 channel operational design.
- Implementation of recommendations for node anchoring and diagram simplification in the graph analysis.
