Description
Session Goal:
The session aimed to develop and optimize a pipeline for processing raw logs into published L2 MDX digests, address MDX error handling, and improve backend MDX rendering.
Key Activities:
- Pipeline Development: Designed a comprehensive pipeline for transforming raw logs into L2 MDX digests, including cohort extraction and tag building.
- Error Handling: Outlined a structured method for identifying and fixing errors in MDX files, focusing on logging and pattern recognition.
- MDX Rendering Fixes: Implemented fixes for missing self-closing tags in MDX/JSX files and updated backend functions to handle these issues.
- Semantic Atlas Planning: Developed a framework for organizing GPT-generated notes using a semantic atlas, and critiqued its structure for improvement.
- Diagram Optimization: Improved Mermaid diagram layouts using Dagre, addressing layout challenges and optimizing for dense graphs.
Achievements:
- Successfully outlined and implemented a pipeline for MDX processing.
- Fixed MDX rendering issues in the backend pipeline.
- Developed a semantic atlas framework for better note organization.
- Enhanced diagram layouts using optimization strategies.
Pending Tasks:
- Further refine the semantic atlas structure to reduce redundancy and improve navigation.
- Continue optimizing the MDX processing pipeline for efficiency and error reduction.
