Description

Session Goal

The session aimed to develop strategies for module interoperability and create Python scripts for various file operations and data management tasks.

Key Activities

  • Interoperability Strategy: Developed a structured approach for ensuring interoperability among software modules, including defining contracts, establishing a run harness, and implementing contract tests.
  • Python Scripting: Created multiple Python scripts to handle file operations such as checking file existence and size, reading file headers, exporting results to JSONL, and extracting ArgumentParser usage from scripts.
  • Data Management: Outlined a dataset schema for managing personal contacts and set up a CSV for job data input.

Achievements

Pending Tasks

  • Further refine the interoperability strategy by implementing the standardized CLI contracts.
  • Address identified areas for improvement in the run_manager.py script, such as hardcoded API keys and module naming conventions.
