Description

Session Goal

Consolidate and normalize multiple registry-oriented notes about LCD website content, academic publications, events, convocatorias, staff pages, and link/slug recommendations into a cleaner taxonomy and master-table structure.

Key Activities

  • Reviewed several structured records covering WordPress posts, theses, talks, convocatorias, institutional announcements, and event listings.
  • Identified recurring classification problems across items: inconsistent categories, missing kind/type fields, weak slug quality, and duplicated or unclear links.
  • Proposed a more explicit taxonomy for publication families such as propuesta_tesis, evento_agenda, evento_resumen, convocatoria, convocatoria_colaboradores, and charla_divulgacion.
  • Suggested consolidating the scattered registries into a master table to improve auditability, navigation, and consistency.
  • Reviewed the tutors/staff page registry and noted structural issues, including heavy page content and incomplete coverage for some departments.
  • Examined link and slug recommendations for the UBA website and a management board, emphasizing canonical artifacts and cleaner link structures.

Achievements

  • Clarified a reusable classification framework for academic and institutional content.
  • Established the need for a master registry/table with additional columns for content type, taxonomy, and link quality.
  • Surfaced concrete data-quality issues: duplicate entries, ambiguous categories, and inconsistent slugs.
  • Produced actionable guidance for page registry maintenance and content organization across LCD/UBA-related pages.

Pending Tasks

  • Implement the proposed master table and migrate existing registry entries into it.
  • Finalize the taxonomy mapping for all publication families and institutional announcements.
  • Add missing metadata columns to support auditing, classification, and slug normalization.
  • Review the tutors/staff page for completeness, especially missing department data.
  • Deduplicate and clean the suggested slug/link list before operational use.
