Session Goal

Advance two parallel execution tracks: (1) convert a positive consultor meeting into a concrete job-search operating mode, and (2) define and harden the kb/ module’s architectural contract so it can move from exploration to stable ecosystem integration.

Key Activities

  • Reframed the job-search process as a carry-state update: preparation is considered closed, and the next loop is real applications plus feedback-driven iteration.
  • Drafted operational guidance for updating related trackers so the job-search funnel, CRM/carry-state, and execution status remain aligned.
  • Produced several KB module governance artifacts:
    • a closure blueprint defining canonical purpose, bounded seams, public artifact surface, and smoke-test vs real-ingest separation;
    • a contract-hardening checklist emphasizing sanctioned seams, canonical entrypoints, run records, observability, and compliance tests;
    • a battle-test assessment showing the module is locally usable but still non-compliant with the stronger ecosystem contract;
    • a three-PR rollout plan to harden the module incrementally;
    • a bus-role alignment memo that freezes seam roles, canonical outputs, and remaining registry-placement decisions.
  • Consolidated implementation intent around artifact contracts, especially run_record, manifests, observability indexes, and bus-compatible outputs for ingest/analyze flows.

Achievements

  • Job-search state was decisively shifted from preparation to execution, with a clear next action: submit real applications and learn from funnel feedback.
  • The KB module’s strategic direction was clarified: treat it as a contract-governed system with explicit seams and canonical outputs rather than an open-ended utility.
  • Identified the main technical gap as contract compliance, not basic functionality, and prioritized remediation around smoke mode, shared run records, and artifact observability.
  • Established a modular rollout path that can be executed as sequential PRs instead of one large refactor.

Pending Tasks

  • Update the job-search trackers/carry-state to reflect the new execution phase and application pipeline.
  • Implement the KB hardening roadmap, starting with provider-free smoke mode for kb_chat_ingest.
  • Define and adopt a shared run_record schema across KB seams.
  • Add or align manifest and observability artifacts, plus contract/compliance tests and docs.
  • Resolve the remaining registry-placement decision for canonical bus-compatible outputs.
