Description

Session Goal

Consolidate several closure memos from Matías’ GPT activity logs into actionable end-of-session artifacts, with emphasis on classifying what was completed, what remains open, and what should be externalized next.

Key Activities

  • Reviewed a weekly deep-work closure memo that reframed the week as a closure-and-classification problem, including a deferred May 20 repair/stabilization block.
  • Summarized the paper-kb / knowledge ecosystem sprint closure, covering corpus rebuilds, API and frontend workbench behavior, Agent Framework LLM integration, and the remaining bottleneck around summary quality.
  • Captured a second paper-kb memo that formalized a quality-gated next step: a narrow Thursday externalization plus a short documentation page.
  • Documented the EPH thesis infrastructure sprint, which converted a blocked repo into reproducible experimental infrastructure with runs, configs, diagnostics, tests, and clearer documentation needs.
  • Recorded the Office Auto Lab runtime hardening work: argparse subcommands, structured logging, daily ledgers, wrapper execution, systemd timer scaffolding, and a fix for a systemd quoting bug.
  • Noted the transition of Office Auto Lab from refactor work into a first observable background runtime lane, with an emphasis on verifying unattended evidence collection before expanding automation.

Achievements

  • Established a reusable memo pattern for closing workstreams by separating finished, advanced, and still-blocked items.
  • Clarified that the paper-kb system now has a working vertical from corpus rebuild through API, frontend, persisted summaries, and a real Agent Framework LLM call.
  • Identified summary quality as the next bottleneck for paper-kb rather than infrastructure completeness.
  • Converted the EPH thesis repo from blocked to reproducible, with the next artifact likely being a student-facing status memo or README.
  • Brought Office Auto Lab to a measurable operational milestone: a package with CLI routing, structured logging, wrapper execution, and a systemd-backed background lane.
  • Defined the immediate operational gate for Office Auto Lab as one clean unattended evidence-daily run before adding more timers.

Pending Tasks

  • Externalize the paper-kb work into a narrow Thursday follow-up and short docs page.
  • Consolidate the EPH experiment set before adding more models, then produce a status memo or repo README.
  • Verify one clean unattended Office Auto Lab evidence run and stabilize the first background lane before expanding automation.
  • Apply the closure/classification approach to remaining open fronts so unfinished work does not stay mentally active.
