Description
Session Goal
Refine the weekly operations governance repository so the documentation and print artifacts are easier to navigate, more maintainable, and better suited for paper-first use.
Key Activities
- Critiqued the first printable Weekly Board and identified a mismatch between technical correctness and ergonomic usability.
- Chose an HTML/CSS-first print pipeline for the Weekly Board and Monday Bridge instead of a Markdown/LaTeX-style output path.
- Defined layout constraints for a single-page A4 landscape board, including CSS checkboxes, simplified structure, and print-oriented rendering.
- Separated artifact roles more clearly: keep some content in Markdown, use Mermaid for architecture diagrams, and reserve PDFs as secondary outputs.
- Proposed a staged Git commit sequence that builds the repository narrative in layers: scaffold, governance contracts, route cards, digital support index, human-facing printables, render scripts, and generated outputs.
- Specified Codex-oriented tasks for an internal link audit and a later Docusaurus migration, including acceptance criteria and placeholder handling.
- Diagnosed Docusaurus routing issues around numbered folders and navbar mismatches, recommending
numberPrefixParseradjustments and route verification. - Framed the repository as an Ops Navigator: a route-centric navigation surface where humans and agents can trace route ID, route card, contract, state, evidence, and printable without turning the repo into a dashboard.
Achievements
- Clarified the technical direction for the weekly board: prioritize print ergonomics and fixed-layout HTML/CSS over document-generation convenience.
- Established a more modular documentation architecture with explicit separation between source content, diagrams, printables, and site delivery.
- Produced concrete implementation guidance for Docusaurus routing, internal link auditing, and printable synchronization.
- Defined a stronger conceptual model for the repo as an operational navigation system rather than a static docs dump.
Pending Tasks
- Implement the HTML/CSS printable redesign for the Weekly Board and Monday Bridge.
- Update render scripts and manifest/config files to match the new print-first workflow.
- Run the internal link audit and verify navigation integrity after migration.
- Complete the Docusaurus setup/migration and confirm route stability for numbered folders.
- Generate or regenerate the final printable outputs after the layout changes.
