The primary aim of this session was to design and implement an automated system for monitoring economic news, focusing on inflation and related economic indicators in Argentina.

• Developed criteria for filtering economic notes, emphasizing quantitative data and excluding non-numerical opinions.
• Established a framework for selecting relevant economic notes, focusing on inflation, reserves, debt, and international comparisons.
• Mapped an editorial schema to Google News RSS feeds, creating specific feeds for topics like inflation, exchange rates, debt, and employment.
• Provided a set of Google News RSS URLs for thematic economic monitoring, facilitating daily automated processing.
• Evaluated the performance of an economic information system, recommending technical improvements for content filtering.
